It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Thomas Richards of Lyndon, Kansas, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 20, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Ron Peters. He is survived by: his parents, Marion Richards of Kansas City, KS and Micki Richards (Ed) of Overbrook, KS; his girlfriend Emma Clements of Topeka, KS; his aunt Tonya Combes (Jimmy) of Lebo, KS; his siblings, Brett Schimmel of Topeka, KS, Taylor Schimmel of Melvern, KS and Desarie Richards of Emporia, KS; his aunt Kimberly Bond (Alan) of Lebo, KS; his siblings' children, Gracie Schimmel, Ta'lynn Traver, Casper Richards and Tate Schimmel; and his family, Kendal, Tanner Smith, Blaine, Brandi Rogers, Russ Haney, Lakin and Elliott Wobker.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home - Lebo (107 W 6th St, Lebo, KS 66856). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to "Andrew Richards Funeral Expenses" sent ℅ Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home, PO Box 43.
