We are sad to announce that, on February 10, 2026, at the age of 92, Russell Swanson of Lyndon, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Swanson and Elizabeth Swanson (Dillard); his siblings, Larry Swanson and Opal Killion; and his great grandchild Layne Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Roberts; his children, Jerrold Swanson of Tulsa, Steve Swanson (Annie) of Topeka, Sandra Clark (Jeff) of Alma and Regina Roberts of Lyndon; his sister Corrine Tumberlen of Ottawa; his grandchildren, A. J. Swanson (Kristin), Abby Mikkelsen (Malcolm), BriAnna Tovi (Andru), Emily Mendpara (Joban), Bryan Rigsby, Cody Rigsby (Hannah), Tanner Clark (Taylor), Logan Clark (Carly), Amanda Clark (Logan), Joshua Clark (Jessica), Lona Mullins (Mike) and Jim Adams; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Scarlett, Gavin, Quinton, Max, Brayden, Callen, Braison, Kaesyn, Kyler, Kinlee, Mackinzee and Ricki. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
