Adelaida R. Wilson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adelaida R. Wilson of Lyons, Kansas, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Adelaida R. Wilson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Mosqueda and Magdalina Mosqueda (Navarro); her husband Donald D. Wilson; and her brothers, Manuel Navarro and Bobby Mosqueda.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Wilson (Penny) of Harrah, OK, Ernie Wilson of Lyons, KS, Jimmy Wilson (Yvonne) of Escondido, CA, Dougie Wilson (Leigh) of Hutchinson, KS, Sheryl Silva (Margarito) of Lyons, KS and Rita Smith (James) of Lyons, KS; and her sister Rachel Gonzalez of Lyons, KS. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (1205 S Douglas Ave, Lyons, KS 67554). A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Reno County or Friends of Animals Rice County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
