She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles J. Gutierrez and Joaquina Gutierrez (Martinez); her husband Jimmy Dale "Jim" Boese; her daughter Monica Mies; and her brothers, Richard Gutierrez, Dean Gutierrez and Bernie Gutierrez.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Belote (Donald) of Lyons, KS, Carolyn Rapp of Lyons, KS and Dan McCarthy (Tammy) of Washington, D. C.; her brothers, Larry Gutierrez of Kanopolis, KS and Danny Gutierrez (Delia) of Wichita, KS; and her grandchildren, Derek Thompson, Sierra Horton (Brayden), Paige Brandt Gabriel Boese (Scott), Levi Belote, Alexia Horvath (Mark), Marianna Boese, Nevaeh Becker, Chloe Becker and Arabelle Rapp. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (1205 S Douglas Ave, Lyons, KS 67554). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul Catholic Church in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
