She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Beneke and Aileon Beneke (Weihe); her spouse Dean Carter; and her brother Norman Beneke. She is survived by: her children, Darla Miller (David) of Bellville, TX and Darrin Carter (Shari) of Bennington, KS; her brother Dale Beneke of Salina, KS; and her grandchildren, Terri Martinez (Adon), Dustin Carter (Ame), Brad Miller (Tiffany) and Holly Mantey (Daniel). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Michael J. Fox Foundation or the BCDI Building in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
