She is survived by: her children, Leonard "Opie" Thurman (Charlotte) of Lyons, KS, Nathan Young of Slidell, LA, Richard Young of Hutchinson, KS, Geoffrey Young (Danielle) of Slidell, LA, Robert Young of Lyons, KS, Jennifer Young of Boise, ID, Nicole Vopat (Jeremy) of Wilson, KS, Savannah Bedoka (Jake) of New Castle, OK and Mike Schwindt of Sterling, KS; and her siblings, Jim Sloan, Lisa Boyd and Melissa Dodson (Harold) of Hutchinson, KS.
Memorials may be given to New Hope Church, Hutchinson in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
