He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lawrence "L. D.", Ella Harrington of Madison, Harold and Edna DeWitt of Winfield, Kansas.; Donna Corinne Bidwell of Lima.
He is survived by: his parents, Larry DeWitt and Sherry DeWitt (Harrington) of Madison, Kansas; his daughter Kylie Elisabeth Phillips; his granddaughter Gemma Louise Phillips; his sister Diantha Stutesman (Corey); his nephew Stephen Stutesman (Tierra); his son Stetson; his granddaughter Amber Stutesman (Kendal Henson); his close friend Stella Renfro; Zach Weien, Neill, Lilian of Gardner, Kansas, Cade Matthew DeWitt (Avery Miller) of Madison, Kansas, Camdon Larry DeWitt of Yates Center, Kansas., Kylie and Chandi DeWitt.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the VanArsdale Funeral Home - Madison (202 W Main Ave, Madison, KS 66860). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sauder Center (110 S 1st St, Madison, KS 66860).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Madison Educational Assistance Fund (MEAF) to establish the Nathan DeWitt Scholarship, or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) Heart of America Chapter in memory of Nathan DeWitt and in honor of Camdon DeWitt.
