It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Moses Mitchell Jr. (Manhattan, Kansas), born in Iola, Kansas, who passed away on May 30, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Berdetta Clounch (Coker) and Andrew Moses Mitchell, Sr.; his sister Irene Williams of Topeka; and his stepdaughters, Vivian Vosburg and Shirlene Vosburg.

He is survived by: his wife Shirlene; his children, Misty Mitchell of Manhattan, Jerome Mitchell of Manhattan, Steven Mitchell of Wichita and Stuart Mitchell of Georgia; and his stepdaughter Patsy Shackelford of Illinois. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home Care and Hospice.
