She was predeceased by : her parents, Crawford Taylor and Dorene Taylor; and her son Benjamin Riley Platt. She is survived by : her husband Riley of Manhattan, KS; her daughters, Sara LeAnn Polansky (Adam) of Belleville, KS and Kimberly Ann Suther (Matt) of Manhattan, KS; her siblings, Bernie Taylor (Carla) of Houston, MO, Buzz Taylor (Linda) of Frankfort, KS and Beth Brunkow of Wamego, KS; and her grandchildren, AJ, Ayden, Evelyn, Cordell and Leia.

Memorials may be made out to KSU Johnson Cancer Research Center in care of Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502.
