We announce the death of Connie Anstaett of Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 81. Connie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius "Neil" Pellman and Ruth Ann Dukelow (Brown); her husband Fred Roger Anstaett; her daughter Candice Nicole Reed; her brother C. P. Dukelow; her grandson Bryce Reed; and her daughter-in-law Angela Anstaett.
She is survived by: her sons, Bart Anstaett of Manhattan and Clint Anstaett (Tammy) of Athens, Texas; her brothers, Robert Dukelow (Alice) of San Diego and James Dukelow (Carolyn) of Scotch Plains; and her grandchildren, Andrew Anstaett, Brittany Anstaett, Miles Reed (Alex), Sean Reed, Cody Jones and Andy Anstaett.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Alert Covenant Church (15820 Green Randolph Rd, Leonardville, KS 66449). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery (S Croco Rd, Overbrook, KS 66524).
Memorials may be made to the Connie Anstaett Memorial Fund to be used for health care worker scholarship fund and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home, PO Box 176, Riley, Kansas 66531.
