He is survived by: his parents, Guy Hughes and Patsy Hughes (Koerner); his wife Betsy Oleson; his children, Robert Hughes, Thomas Hughes and Nicole Hughes; his parents-in-law, Ken and Bonnie Oleson; and his sisters-in-law, Amber Melius (Levi), Elizabeth Oleson (John Town) and Dynasty Carnahan (Brandon).
