Elias P. Leon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elias P. Leon of Manhattan, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elias P. Leon to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Concha Espinoza and Phillip Leon; and his siblings, Elizabeth Valdez and David Leon. He is survived by: his wife Elvira Leon; his sons, Arthur Leon (Julie) and Andrew Leon; and his siblings, Martha Mendoza, Raymond Leon and Samuel Leon. He is also survived by extended family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home (1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Seven Dolors Catholic Church (221 S Juliette Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Elias may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or Seven Dolors Catholic Church.
