He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn "Mickey" Sharp (Mitchell); and his parents, Colonel H. M. and Inez Sharp. He is survived by: his children, Janet Robinson (Bob), Doug Sharp (Pauline) and Brian Sharp (Jeanny); and his close friend Mary Lu Haas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Peace Memorial Foundation, American Legion, VFW, or the College Avenue United Methodist Church.
