He is survived by: his wife Janet Joyce Frey of Manhattan; his sons, Greg Anders (Heather) of Niceville, FL, Doug Anders (Rebecca) of Ventura, CA and Matt Anders (Martha) of Manhattan Beach, CA; his grandchildren, Matthew, Phoebe, Maizie, Jake and Natasha; and his great grandchild Isaac.
In recognition of his contributions to the community, he was honored as the "Port Hueneme Citizen of the Year" in 1990.
