We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2024 we had to say goodbye to James D. Bartlett (Manhattan, Kansas), born in Ottawa, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Allen and Gladys Allen; and his adoptive parent Dale (Clarice Bartlett). He is survived by : his siblings, Robert Allen, Luther Lee Allen, Duane Allen, Lenora Sommerville (Allen), Howard Allen, Phyllis Judd (Allen), Catherine Meats (Bartlett), Edith Jones (Broiles), Esther Fink (Broiles) and Patrick Broiles (Floyd); his daughter Shirley; his former life partner Melissa (Vene); his children, Isla and Wyatt; and his spouse Mekea (Geisler). He is also survived by three children, 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home (1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at the Veteran's Cemetery (5181 Wildcat Creek Rd, Manhattan, KS 66503).
