He was predeceased by : his parents, Loran Picolet and Mary Wilma Picolet (Duncan); and his siblings, Dean Picolet, Dale Picolet, Marvin Picolet, Merle Picolet, Betty Hodgins and Dorothy Simons.

He is survived by : his wife Connie Kay Hale; his sons, John Picolet, Travis Picolet of Kansas City, MO and Kevin Picolet (Jona) of Everett, WA; his sisters, Darlene Nemechek of Fall City, NE and Judy Fleeker of Manhattan, KS; and his sister-in-law Becky Picolet of Alma, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund is established to be designated later.
