It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H Butler (Manhattan, Kansas), born in Fort Riley, Kansas, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Butler and Opal Butler (Roller); and his son Matt Butler. He is survived by : his wife Janet Butler (Anderson); and his daughters, Sandy (Derek), Amanda (Frank) and Lauren Butler, MD (Tyler). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Memorials in memory of James may be made payable to the Retired Police Canine Foundation in care of Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502.
