John F. Stites Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Stites of Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, O. R. Stites (Jack) and Peg Stites; his wife Lila Stites of Wellington, KS; his son David Stites; and his siblings, Jane Leo, Russell Stites and Doris Frost.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry R. Stites of Lawrence, KS and Tim H. Stites of St. Joesph, MO.; and his grandchildren, David Stites, Tim H. Stites and Katie A. Stites. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Instead of flowers it is suggested a contribution to Alzheimer's Research in the name of Lila Stites.
