With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kent Eugene Carmichael of Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on January 27, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Carmichael and Verna Jane Carmichael (Thompson); and his stepmother Lee Carmichael. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Anderson of Liberal, KS; his brother Craig Carmichael (JaneAnn) of Independence, MO; his daughters, Shelley Carmichael (Carl Smith) of Aurora, NE and Tricia Gill (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Vianna, Julia, Quinten, Ayeanna Smith, Lauren, Evie and Porter Gill.
