She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Herbst and Rex Kent; her son Christopher Maes; and her siblings, John Kent and Shirley Pena.
She is survived by: her husband David Barry of Manhattan; her daughter Ginger Maes of Manhattan; her siblings, Janice Noctonick of Holton, Kansas and Tapley Kent of Albuquerque; and her siblings-in-law, Thesa Petty of Manhattan and Mikel Barry of North Carolina. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
