It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marceil Lauppe (Manhattan, Kansas), who passed away at the age of 90, on December 7, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Boyd and Hazel Maude Ring (Searle); her husband George Merrill Lauppe; and her sister Claudine Mae Lundy (Ring). She is survived by: her children, George Lauppe (Annette) and Sonya Anders (Dale); and her grandchildren, Shane Lauppe (Andrea), Craig Lauppe (Lindsay), Austin Anders, Aaron Anders (MiKayla), Augustus Anders (Kristen), Owen, Cora, Everly, Harper, Adam and AuRoara.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (946 Vermont St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
Memorial contributions may be made out to the First United Methodist Church, Douglas County Visiting Nurses Association, Marceil Lauppe VNA Scholarship Fund, or the Lawrence Homeless Community Shelter, in care of Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502.
