She is survived by: her children, Ralph Perta (Wendy) of Gladstone, Amy Perta of Shawnee, Abriel Peralta of Buffalo and Joseph Peralta of Manhattan, Kansas.; her grandchildren, Mercedez Cabrera of Junction City, Giovonna Rodriguez of Topeka and Avery Rausch of Wichita; her great grandchild Ezra Ruiz of Junction City; and her siblings, Rick Teidel of Junction City, Camice Hernandez of Colorado Springs, Tiffani Whaley of Manhattan, Patrick McGuire Jr. of Bellevue and Steve Johnson of Tulsa, Oklahoma..
A rosary was held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (218 N Washington St, Junction City, KS 66441). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Among her many contributions to the community, Marty actively participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for many years following her own battle with cancer in 1998.
