It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Thaemert of Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Reese and Marie Reese (Luhman); her son Troy Thaemert; and her siblings, Dean, Edwin Reese, Wilda Lindberg, Lola Boedeker and Lorene Tatkenhorst.

She is survived by: her husband Allan Lee Thaemert of Lucas; her children, Todd Thaemert of Manhattan, Becky Pancost (Jon) of Lucas, Tom Thaemert (Krista) of Manhattan and James Thaemert of Manhattan; and her grandchildren, Savannah Awbrey (Nate), Reese Thaemert (Marissa), Sophie, Harlan and Lily Pancost.

Memorials may be given to the Peace Lutheran Church and can be sent in care of the mortuary.
