He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Maxine Meek (Noland) and Jerry Fritz; and his wife Kay Sump. He is survived by: his daughters, Angela K. Lenhart of Manhattan, KS and Nicole F. Long (Tom) of Brown City, Michigan; his grandchildren, Jay Dormann (Dakota), Katy Busby-Jordan (Thomas), Taylor Lenhart, Avery Lenhart, Hannah Long and Peyton Long; and his great grandchildren, Kroy Dorman and Krese Dorman.

Memorial donations my be made in Max's honor to the DAV Manhattan.
