It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred I. Goehring (Manhattan, Kansas), who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mildred I. Goehring to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Shaw and Eva Harrell Shaw; her husband Lester Goehring; her siblings, Bob Shaw, Don Shaw, Betty Scafe, Margaret Carrington and Marilyn Workman; and her son-in-law Steve Marshall.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Goehring (Patti) of Topeka, KS, Kathi Goehring (Rich) of Olathe, KS and Rich Goehring (Judy) of Manhattan, KS.; her grandchildren, Jamie DeLong, Jared Goehring, Julie Concilio and Janelle Fritzson; and her great grandchildren, Connor, Sam DeLong, Peyton, Preslee Goehring, Zoe McCoy, Paxton and Bexley Fritzson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home (1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial funds in memory of Milly to the Ascension Living Via Christi Village in Manhattan .
