Richard Wayne Busenitz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Wayne Busenitz (Manhattan, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman and Martha (Voth); and his sisters, Marjorie (Rolland Wiens) and Irene (Charles Unruh). He is survived by: his wife Carol Busenitz (Ott); his children, Paul (Gretchen) of Panorama City, CA, Christine Busenitz of Tustin, CA and Caryn Ford (Christopher) of Warrenton, MO; his grandchildren, Raiya, Ryan Zaher, Jack and Riley Busenitz; and his brother Calvin (Jodi Busenitz). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crestview Christian Church (3940 Excel Rd, Manhattan, KS 66502).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to be made to the Crestview Christian Church Missions and DOOR, Deaf and Reaching Deaf for Christ.
