He is survived by: his parents, Michael Gnad and Laytha Gnad (Brenner) of Hays; his wife Jessica (Lanning); his children, Jack of Manhattan, Betsy of Manhattan and Ruby of Manhattan; his sisters, Heidi Goff (Chane) of WaKeeney, Robin Gnad of Hays and Brandy Ochs (E. J.) of Garden City; and his parents-in-law, Scott and Linda Henson of Topeka.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home (1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (612 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502). A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Sunrise Cemetery (2901 Stagg Hill Rd, Manhattan, KS 66502).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Flint Hills Breadbasket or to support the future education of Shannon's children, Jack, Betsy and Ruby.
