It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Schurle of Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Darrell Russell and Rose Russell (Riniker); her siblings, Jim Russell, Sally Warren and Francis Fugate; and her grandson Christopher Schurle.

She is survived by : her husband Lyman Schurle of Manhattan; and her sons, DeWayne Schurle (Julie) of Manhattan, David Schurle of Riley, Darrell Schurle (Lisa) of Manhattan and Jamie Schurle of Colorado. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Sedalia Community Church and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
