As Thomas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Thomas. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Laughlin and Alma Laughlin (Amelung); and his sister Martha Laughlin. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Laughlin (Moody); and his sisters, Kathy Bussey and Karen Laughlin of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by one nephew; numerous cousins; and on his sister in law's side of the family, eight nephews and three nieces, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the College Avenue United Methodist Church (1609 College Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) or the American Diabetes Association (ADA) in care of Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502.
