We announce the death of Velma Ann (Bach) Osborn (Manhattan, Kansas), who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 98. Velma Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ralph Bach and Lula Theresa Bach (Mentgen); her husband Robert Osborn of Soldier; her daughter Patricia; her granddaughter Shannon; her siblings, Dolores and Larry; and her stepbrother Ralph Klein.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Osborn (Cathy) of Manhattan, Kansas; her grandson Ryan (Lyndsay) of Lenexa; her great grandchildren, Adalyn, Hudson and Delaney; and her sister Karen Ubben (Gary) of Wichita. She is also survived by her loving family and many, many friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Velma's honor to The Prayer Garden at St. Thomas More Catholic Church or Good Shepherd Homecare & Hospice.
