In the vast expanse of eternity, Verna shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Verna farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Swanson and Ruth Ahlberg Swanson. She is survived by: her children, Gary of Denver and Amy Clement (John) of Overland Park; and her grandsons, Adam Clement and Austin Clement.
Memorial contributions in memory of Verna are suggested to the First Lutheran Church or the Meadowlark Hills Foundation (To benefit the Parkinsons Program).
