He is survived by : his mother Jenny Shumate (Palo) of Gilead; his fiancé Abbie Busing of Manhattan, Kansas; his children, Tayvin, Evan and Sophia; his sister Melissa Collins (Casey) of Beatrice; his grandparents, Dr. Matti and Mary Palo of Enterprise, Alabama; his nephews, Grady Eggert and Tucker Eggert; and his niece Lorelai Eggert.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family's choice in care of the mortuary.
