He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert V. Voelker and Marian E. Voelker (Schilling); his wife Anna Maria Segobiano; and his siblings, Robert, John, William, Thomas, Sr., Marian, Guy Voelker and Teresa Anagnospopulos.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Parks of Johnstown, OH, Deanna Saba (Rob) of Medina, OH, Nancy Heckart (Alan) of Omaha, NE, Martin Voelker (Christa) of Raymore, MO, Father Nicholas Voelker, Wichita, Dominic Voelker of Hutchinson, Maria West (Tom) of Shawnee, KS and Eric Voelker (Jeanne-Renée Butler) of Grapevine, TX; his grandchildren, Aly (Luke), Philip, Eva, Grace, Ben, Jessica, Alyson, Abby, Anastasia, John, William and Emily; his brother Jim Voelker (Caryl Ann) of Grand Junction, CO; and his sister-in-law Ruth Voelker of Highland Springs, CO.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Yazel-Megli Funeral Homes - Marion (205 Elm St, Marion, KS 66861). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Holy Family Parish (415 Cedar, Marion, KS 66861). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church.
Memorial contributions in Lou's name may be directed to the Father Kapaun Legacy Fund in care of the funeral home.
