In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Lou shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Lou farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas James and Elsie Mae Slaughter (Slape); and her sister Donna Rae Emmerson. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Shipman of Florence; and her children, Sandy Sprowls (Chris) of Marion, Lee Shipman (Amy) of Florence, Tammy Bremer of Florence, Ronda Drow (John) of Florence and Jimmy Shipman (Jeni) of Marion. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Mary's name may be directed to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
