We are sad to announce that, on February 8, 2026, at the age of 81, Sam Johnson of Marion, Kansas, born in El Dorado, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Johnson and Clara Lee Johnson (Stebbins); his son Aarron Kale Johnson; his brothers, Jonnie Johnson and Dennis Johnson; and his nephew Kegan Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tonya Porterfield (Gary) of Wichita and Tiffany Harper of Wichita; his former wife Paula Edwards (Richard); his grandchildren, Paul Hodson of Kansas City, Corrine Haukap (Matthew) of Cheney, Casey Baliel of Pratt, Patrick Hodson of Waukesha, WI, Cheyenne Walsh (Cale) of Garden Plain and Colbie Harper of Hutchinson; his brother Mark Johnson (Connie); and his sister-in-law Debbie Johnson of El Dorado. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, dear neighbor, and friends.
