He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ryan and Alberta Ryan (Rombeck); his wife Gladys Mathews; and his siblings-in-law, Albert and Jannie.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Ryan (Karen), Charles Ryan (Sandy) of Lincoln, NE and Douglas Ryan (Denise); and his grandchildren, Amy Ryan of Lincoln, NE, Kim Routon (Larry) of Katy, TX, Kristi Lawrence (LD), Lawrence, Scott Ryan (Michele) of Council Bluffs, IA, Wayne Ryan (Molly), Craig Ryan (Melissa), Jennifer Clements (Christopher) of Lincoln, NE and Blake Ryan (Jill). He is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.
A memorial fund is established and will be designated later.
