He was predeceased by: his parents, Tyrus Thompson and Maxine Thompson (Slupianek); his sister Karen Dick; and his nephew Jerry Dick. He is survived by: his nephew Kelley Dick; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rachell Goodwin, Daniel Dick, Jamie Dick and Jesse Dick.
A memorial fund is established to the Blue River Rail Trail.
