Jim Durant Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Durant of Mayfield, Kansas, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Durant and Virginia Durant (Winn). He is survived by: his wife Janet Durant of Mayfield, Kansas; his children, Kristy Dekat (Jay) of Topeka, Kansas, Mike Durant of Park City, Kansas, Cheryl Perkins (Justin) of Derby, Kansas and Mark Durant of Mayfield, Kansas; his grandsons, Cale Dekat and George Perkins; and his siblings, Larry Durant (Brian Britton), Ann Barkley (Kelly) and Bill Durant (Karen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
