It is with sadness that the passing of Tamra SUE Gilbert of McFarland, Kansas is shared. Tamra, born on July 22, 1967, passed away on July 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Tamra will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Tamra by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Tamra is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Tamra’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Orton and Mary Orton (Mann); and her sister Theresa Turner. She is survived by: her husband William Gilbert; her children, April Kiser (Cody) of Lawrence and Joshua Shields (Nichelle) of Herington; and her siblings, William Orton, Julius Orton and Victoria Cochran. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
