Carol Jean left this world on June 13, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zenn Ratliff and Grace Ratliff (Chitwood); her husband Kenneth Thompson; her stepdaughter Kelly Toplikar (Charlie) of Hillsdale, KS; her siblings, Zenn Dale Ratliff, Gail Ratliff (Lou), Max Ratliff (Margret) and Joyce Ratliff; her sister-in-law Anna Huerter; and her grandson Chad Stacy.
She is survived by: her brother Bill Ratliff (Barbara) of Garnett, KS.. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers there is an account being set up at the Bank of McLouth for memorials which will go to her grandchildren's college funds.
