He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Marie Harding (Cline) and John Harding; and his sisters, Sharon Combs, Tammy Jo Driscoll and Rosie Hargrove.
He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Smith of Tonganoxie, KS, Robert A. Smith (Amanda) of Topeka, KS, Ryan Smith (Cassie) of Hiawatha, KS and Derek Peterson (Ashley) of Baldwin City, KS; and his sisters, Jeannie Kimes of Tuscon, AZ, Carolyn Smith of Winter Haven, FL and Edna Brubaker of Lawrence, KS. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
