He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois A Engel and Caroline Befort Engel; and his son Timothy. He is survived by: his wife Lela Ann Becker; his children, Greg (Jolene), Brian (Laura), Chris, Mike (Dawn) and Caroline (Chris); his grandchildren, Curtis (Hillary), Cameron (Paige) and Sawyer; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Noah and Emily.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stockham Family Funeral Home (205 N Chestnut St, McPherson, KS 67460). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Joseph Cemetery (100 E 26th St, Hays, KS 67601).
