She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Murrell (Henderson) and Milburn Murrell; her husband Bob; and her siblings, Frank, Alice Maxwell, June McClure and Anna Eriksson.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Fuhrken (Ron); her granddaughters, Jessica Amel (Ben) and Angela Kmeck (Max); her great grandchildren, Jameson Amel, Avery Amel, Peter and Eva Kmeck; and her sisters, Julia Hibdon and Ione Simpson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (1200 E Kansas Ave, McPherson, KS 67460).
