With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David M. Smith of McPherson, Kansas, who passed away on October 30, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Milton and Ila Rae "Pat" Smith (Vernon); and his brothers, Jack and Larry Smith. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Fisher; his son James "Jimmy" Smith of McPherson, KS; and his sister Pauline Bradbury of Surprise, AZ.
