We announce the death of Elaine J. Anderson of McPherson, Kansas, who passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stoneback and Kathryn Stoneback (Kulp); her former husbands, Charles Skinner and Jimmy Stout; her sister Georgianna Sheffler; her friend Donnie Christensen; and her stepson Geoff Skinner.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Anderson of McPherson, KS; her children, Lisa Chapman of McPherson, KS and Michael Stout of Sonora, AR; her siblings, Cynthia McSwain (Bob) of Vancouver, WA and Edwin Stoneback of McPherson, KS; her siblings-in-law, Lawrence Sheffler of Port Orchard, WA and Dale Gifford of McPherson, KS; her stepchildren, Myrna Walline (Russ) of Galva, KS, Marva Griffith of McPherson, KS, Becky Estes (Rick) of McPherson, KS, Ron Anderson (Darla) of McPherson, KS, Pamela Nelson (Arvard) of Elyria, KS and Mike Anderson (Vicki) of Decatur, IL; her grandchildren, Izaac, Tucker and Celeste Chapman; and her great grandchildren, Ivory and Gannon Chapman. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, extended relatives and friends.
