She was predeceased by: her husband Maynard Neal Esau; and her sister Keran Pattengill. She is survived by: her daughter Christina Whitmer of McPherson, KS; her granddaughters, Jordan Whitmer (Victor Valdez) of McPherson, KS and Logan Whitmer of McPherson, KS; her sibling's children, Rhonda Miller (Scott), Jim Gordon, Nancy Foss, Dr. Tony Hapgood and Bobby Hapgood; and her close friends, Dorothy Otte, Sally Puchosic, Mary Ann Musselwhite and Ray Gibbs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to the Cat House in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
