He was predeceased by: his father Oscar William "Bill"; and his brother-in-law Billy Joe Moon. He is survived by: his mother Connie Sue Allen (Horyna) of McPherson, KS; his wife Audrey Allen; his siblings, Sonya Moon of McPherson, KS and Eric Allen of McPherson, KS; and his siblings' children, Savannah Moon and Avery Moon. He is also survived by three step-children; five step-grandchildren; and many additional nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, an uncle, and friends.
