He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cooprider and Clara Cooprider; his wife Wilma Sparks Cooprider; his sister Joyce Schrock Cook; and his son-in-law Richard Burnett.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Cooprider, Duane Cooprider (Julie) and Donna Burnett. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stockham Family Funeral Home (205 N Chestnut St, McPherson, KS 67460). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the West Liberty Cemetery (396 Comanche Rd, Windom, KS 67491). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Stockham Family Funeral Home (205 N Chestnut St, McPherson, KS 67460).
