In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Kay leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Kay may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Kenneth Pogue and Janice Ferrell (Hoot Gibson); her daughter Tacy Hawk; and her grandson Axyl Leven. She is survived by: her husband Keith Gibson (Hoot); her sons, Kyle Hawk (Tammy) of McPherson, KS and Troy Hawk (Carol) of Beloit, KS; her adoptive daughter Jennifer Leven (Willie) of Canyon, TX.; and her sister Beverley Woodruff of Minneapolis, KS. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to the First Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis, KS or St. Joseph's Catholic School in McPherson, KS and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
