He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lewis and Elfreda Mae Purcell (Umbarger); and his siblings, Garry Purcell, Steve Purcell and Virginia Tolliver.
He is survived by: his wife Reva Jean Gillberg; his sons, Eddy Purcell (Angela) of Moundridge, KS and Anthony Purcell (Chris Hays) of Yukon, OK; and his siblings, Jane Rector of Mount Meridian, IN, Lewis Purcell of Indianapolis, IN, Dorothy Treman of Muskegon, MI, Vicki Frazier (Gary) of Cloverdale, IN, Sue Gann (J. R.) of Muskegon, MI and Marty Purcell (Paula) of McPherson, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and many brothers and sisters.
